Good morning, Tay! It was so interesting to read of your "adventures in scannings." Good thing Mom's looking out for you and doesn't easily get pushed around! The wedding was beautiful yesterday. Not only did it not rain, but Kelly, Glenna and I came home with sunburns! I'm usually so careful about sunscreen. So careful, in fact, I don't thing Glenna's ever seen me with a sunburn! Anyway, I wanted to say good morning and I love you. Hope you're feeling well today! Love, Aunt JoAnna
HI TAYLOR, I'M SORRY THAT YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH SOME BAD STUFF. YOUR YOUTH WILL WORK IN YOUR FAVOR. KEEP YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR. IT WILL HELP YOU AND THOSE AROUND YOU. IS THERE A BOOK OR CD THAT I COULD SEND YOU? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. JUDY HUGHES (I'M A FRIEND OF YOUR MOTHER)
Hi there precious girl, sounds like the medicine your taking for the pain in your stomach is working. That is wonderful news and it is about time you got some relief. Praying and keeping good thoughts for you always. Love Grandma Dutton
Hi, babe! I hear you had a real good day today and that the new pain medication is helping. Can't wait to take you shopping next week for a hat to add to your collection. A lady can't have too many of them, you know! Much love, Granma
Hey Buggy! I'm so glad you had a good day today and that the new medication seems to be helping. What a relief, huh? Hopefully the scans will come back with good news and we will be able to move on to the next phase. And I LOVE your new hats! You look so cute in them. We'll have to take a picture to put on the site to show everyone how cute they are on you. You can become our official hat girl, okay? Love you bunches and bunches. U Know Who

Hi Taylor: I sure do miss your smiley face out at Rolling Hills and I miss having you help me with Amigo. Now I have no one to share my mints with. I hope your tests all went well and that today was a good day for you and for your Mom and Dad. I hope to see you back in the saddle before too long. Stay strong and know I'm sending good thoughts your way. Yvonne (and Amigo too.)
Well, it is 5:30 here in New Mexico, so it would be 4:30 pm in California. I'm sure you are done for the day with all your test. We sure hope your now at home and resting. It had to be a tiring day. My horse hurt his eye yesterday so we have been busy doctoring him. I think his eye is ok, just the lower lid is torn a bit. Always something with horses isn't it? I didn't know you had a horse named Tyler. I'm wondering if he is your newest horse? Hope you can ride him soon. I love you and hope you had a good day. Grandma Dutton
Hi Taylor, I am a friend of Sylvia and Gary Swenson's. I work for a company (Favrille, Inc.) right here in San Diego that is currently studying a drug which will help people with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The drug will be called Specifid. It's pretty cool, really. It is made from the patient's own lymphoma tumor... so it is sort of a "designer drug"... each person gets their own drug made just for them. Fancy huh? Keep your fingers crossed, Taylor... we are looking right now to see if our tests of this drug really work on people. We will know for sure in June. It could help a lot of cancer patients if the results are positive. Part of my job is to talk to patients and their families and educate them about Lymphoma and their treatment options. I have access to a lot of resources and information, which I am happy to share with you and your family. If you ever have a question or there is something you don't understand about your cancer, your treatment, or if you need help finding resources, support groups, etc., please contact me directly. If I don't know the answer... I promise I'll find out for you. I can be reached at slangley@favrille.com or 858-526-8934. In the meantime, I know that you have already started chemotherapy. That is a scary thing, isn't it? I hope the doctors are able to give you some medicine along with the chemo to keep you from feeling too sick to your stomach and all the other yucky stuff that comes with the chemo. Taylor, you are a beautiful, amazing, brave, and inspirational young woman. I hope you stay strong and positive. There is a lot of love surrounding you... but I'm sure you can feel that, can't you? I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and I promise to write you again soon. Your new friend, Susie Langley
Hi Taylor, Jack and I think of you everyday. Jack loved spending time with you at Children's. He was very impressed with your PS2, or was it a PS3? I'm behind the times. Well, he definitely wants one now. We are praying for good scan results. Next time we are in San Diego, we will come for a visit. Best, Carrie
Good morning, Taylor! We are praying for your scans today, and praying for positive results! Your prayer quilts are so beautiful . . . they look perfect for snuggling on the couch with a good book or a good movie. It's a beautiful day here in FL and everyone at my church is getting ready for a wedding tomorrow. We hope it doesn't rain! Tyler's car is broken so I have to take him to work. The other lazy home schoolers are still sleeping. :-D I love you! Aunt JoAnna
Hi Taylor, it's your grandma's friend Virginia...just wanted to wish you well with the P.E.T. scan tomorrow...Randy has his on the 5th of May...he has non-hodgkins lymphoma also, just finished his chemotherapy on Mar.20th...we are praying you will be in remission soon...and back to feeling good. He also lost all his hair...but bald is beautiful...and it will grow back.. You stay strong and give your Mom & Dad a hug from me. I have known your dad since he was just a little boy.. Love to all of you, Virginia
Hi Taylor, It's Thursday the 24th and I'm hoping your feeling better today. We are all thinking about you and wanting the best for you. I bet your Mom could drive the road to the hospital in her sleep. :) You probably could too. The wind is blowing hard today here in New Mexico and the days are getting warmer. Both dogs are asleep at my feet. A friend wants to give us a rooster but we said, "no thanks". Too many wild animals around here that just love chickens. The two goats are doing good, the littlest one gets to get out of her pen to eat the weeds. The big one gets to go into all the pens in the back, so has plenty of room. Time to go water the horses, steer and goats. Talk to you here tomorrow. Love you, Grandma Dutton
Hi Tay! It's going to be really H-O-T this weekend. If you want to come swim in the pool and walk on the beach, you can come down to my house. The grunion fish were on the beach 3 nights this weekand Malachi caught and ate some fishies! I suppose you could call it Grunion Sashimi! Aisling
Hey Taylor, I hope you got the cards that I sent you in the mail from you're extended horse show "family". Reno and I missed you a lot at Fiesta del Mar. I know Reno missed his "Taylor visits". I'm very proud on how you're handling things. I'm keeping you and your family in my prayers! Love, Missy and Reno McCarthy
Your prayer quilts are beautiful, honey, and it is wonderful to see so many people offering prayers and good thoughts so that you can get better soon. I am proud of you that you went to school today, even though you were not feeling well, and I hope your tests go well tomorrow. Are you enjoying your pillowcases I sent you? Thinking of you and can't wait to give you a great big hug and take you to lunch next week. Love, Granma
Hi Taylor, I work a Hewlett-Packard and have met your dad. I was so impressed with you and your family! You’re going through a hard time but still thought of others by donating your hair and sharing your story. It reminded me of a book my son bugged me to read, I really didn’t want to but when I did I was really glad. It is called the Lakota Way. It is a collection of stories and lessons for living based on Native American wisdom; ethics and character by Joseph M. Marshall the Third. It is such a wonderful book. It is full of examples of universal values like humility; perseverance; respect; honor; love; sacrifice; truth; compassion; bravery; fortitude; generosity and wisdom. From your journal it looks like you possess many of those values! Keep up the good work. Chris Dolphin
Hi Taylor. We're the Miller boys, Keeton, Kolton, and Klayton. Our dad works with your dad at HP. Hey Taylor, I hope you have fun doing what your doing and that all your days will get better and better and better. From Klayton (5) Hi Taylor. I have been praying for you to get better. It was cool that you donated your hair to other kids. From Kolton (8) Hello Taylor. I hope that your treatments are working and that the cancer will go away. I also wondered if you are getting to play any sports and I hope you get better soon. I have been praying that you won't have any pain when you have your treatments. Your friend, Keeton (12)
Good morning, Taylor! I hope you're having a good day today and able to do some of the things you want to do. I also pray your appetite is good today . . . tell Mom you want a Popsicle. ;-D Love, Aunt JoAnna

Hi Taylor,I work here at Hewlett Packard and I know how proud your dad is of you and I wanted to tell you that my family and I are praying for you to get better and to let you know your being thought of. God Bless, the North family....
Hi Taylor, Grandma Dutton here. I was reading your journal, sounds like you have some crazy stuff going on. I hope the doctor can figure it out and get it stopped. I hate that your having to go through all of this but the end result of you feeling better is what we all want. I love you my strong girl, Grandma
Dear Tay Hay, I was so thrilled to hear that you rode Tyler this past weekend. I'm also really glad to hear that your appetite is back. Yippee!!! Thinking of you always. Love, Robin
Hey Taylor, I am a friend of your aunt, and I just wanted to let you know that we are praying for you! You are an amazing girl!
Hey Taylor! You don't know me, but i am currently looking for an Arabian gelding for myself and my little sister. I found Thunder Dancer online and my dad has been emailing your mom. He asked why you are selling him and she explained your situation. Your story automatically touched my heart in a certain place. You are a strong girl and have faith in God he will be there with you. You are in my prayers, Emma.
