FUNDRAISERS

Have you noticed that the thermometer just made a huge jump? We wish to thank our newest Angel for her incredibly generous donation that allowed our fundraising efforts to be so much closer to our goal. In spite of light pre-sales, the Applebee's Fundraiser turned out to be a huge success with a whopping $896 raised for Taylor's fund! Debbie was interviewed on KOGO radio's Roger Hedgecock show which brought out even more people, and at the end of the day, the Escondido manager called to say he was donating that location's portion of the proceeds back to Taylor which meant they served 63 people for FREE! Please consider eating at this restaurant if you get the chance as his generosity should be repaid if possible. Special thanks go to servers Mark, Caroline, Heather, Cindy, Susan, Michele, and Flavio. Without them the event never could have happened.

Considering the light turn-out, Caroline Johnson did a fabulous job and the Cookie Lee party still generated $108 for Taylor's medical fund and is reflected in the thermometer above. Since many people expressed interest but couldn't attend, the Maria has generously agreed to extend the fundraiser for orders until the end of June and to offer others the chance to host a fundraiser party for Taylor. Up next is the Taylor Hay Benefit Horse Show on June 29th in Whitmore Lake, MI (Taylor is even finding angels across the country!) and then the Scripps Dance Centre's Summer show, "Broadway Musicals" held at the Jewish Community Centre in La Jolla (UTC area), CA. And plans are in the works to turn the August Run/Walk into a total "Taylor Hay Day" with a BBQ and three band concert after the run/walk.
